The Old Commercial Inn Bishopsteignton is a family-run, traditional, village freehouse with a selection of West Country beers, ciders, old and new world wines, gins, liqueurs, whiskys and a growing range of mead. The menu includes steak and kidney puddings, home-cooked ham, egg and chips, pasties and Langage Farm ice cream. We have a regular, monthly jazz club with live music and other themed events have included a Greek Night, Beaujolais Nouveau tasting, whisky tasting and an annual summer Garden Party.
Outside spaces include ample parking and a beer garden. Inside we have a cosy lounge area and dining room, as well as the popular public bar, with inviting open fires in the colder months.
We have room for club meetings and other group activities. We currently host a popular monthly quiz (raising funds for the Andy Gunn Foundation), a long-established darts team and, more recently, jazz and classical music appreciation evenings.
Visit the Bishopsteignton Heritage website for a history of the pub and while you are there, take a look at Bishopsteignton’s other attractions, treasures and amazing stories.
